go to the texas state bar website. but you have about a 1/1,000% chance on winning a wrongfuf termination lawsuit in Texas. Unless they actually said you were fired due to your race, religion, sex, age or national origin you have no case.
Oh yea, you have 180 days to file a claim with the eeoc & texas workforce comissionhttp://www.twc.state.tx.us/customers/jse…http://www.eeoc.gov/
Texas is a right to work state…which means you can be terminated for any reason that your employer sees fit…good luck with this one…most likely you are going to lose and be out quite a bit in court costs as well.
Ask yourself “Is it worth it?” Do what is best for yourself move on and live a good life…or you could sue and be out loads of money that you probably don’t have at this current time.
Good Luck!
EDIT: Why exactly was it a wrongful termination?
EDIT2: It always sucks to lose a job…especially when you think you’ve been wronged, but trust me you will lose and then where will you be. I don’t mean to be rude…just would hate to fight it lose and be in a worse position because of it.
