When filling out a patent application, the form asks for an “Attorney Docket Number” the website is very unspecific about whether this is a number that I just make up, or I am assigned.

This is a small case done on a friendly basis but for some reasonable return for hours spent and expenses incurred. What would be a friendly percent to charge a friend for taking their law suit to court and winning for them?
