Background: My husband and his ex are both ordered to pay child support when the other has custody. We are in the middle of a child support battle where the ex has a state appointed attorney and we are paying out the *** to our attorney. The ex is behind in her child support obligation and we are heading to court this week. Can we object to her having a state appointed attorney if she is in arrears?

while your at it you should request a re-write of the constitution.
when my husband tried to get a public defender they said they didn’t do custody battles anymore…. not to worry a lawyer you pay out the butt for is always better than a public defender.. a public defender doesn’t care because they get paid either way
rwll the judge. I;d get a free consultation with a member of the bar association,. or speak to the clerk of the court for a ruling.
Huh? She obviously qualifies for the public defender and you guys don’t. What’s the problem?
