Well I became a law student in the fall of 06′ and here is what I found out about people. Good deeds are done everyday when your in the society of law. You may not see it. You may lose a case and let a guilty man go free. You may condem the innocent thats the fault of the system. However, the majority of the time you are getting a silent thanks from the victims families and you are making the society safer. In our profession no one will come up and say you did a good deed, you just have to understand at the end of the day you are potentally saving someone from a muderer, your protecting the next business from fraud, your giving a child a chance to be a child, or your vendicating a man accused of somthign he did not do and protecting his family from those who would liken to think otherwise. That is your good deed. It’s silent but so lound and defined in so many more ways. Good luck my friend. If you ask me is all the time worth it, yes.
