My mother have been hospitolized for the last 9months from a car crash I need to get power of attorney for her, how do I go about doing that? do i need to get a lawer, how long will it take to get it, will it cost alot of money to get one, and also will i have to go to court for that?
What do you mean by hospitalized? Is she lucent…awake? If not you cannot get a power of attorney. If you just need to make medical decisions for her the statutory scheme for your state may make it possible for you to do so already. Otherwise, you may need to be appointed as guardian. A power of attorney does not require you to go to court appointment as guardian does.

It will cost a lot of money if you hire a lawyer, or paralegal to prepare the forms for you. You can get the instructions, legal forms, and everything you need to prepare your own power of attorney for your mother at – http://www.legalformsbank.biz/powerofatt…
