ACORN has been caught now in voter registration fraud in at least 8 key states this week and it continues to grow as the investigations get deeper and deeper. Obama has given money to ACORN when he was part of the foundation which William Ayers was also a board member with Obama and Obama became ACORN’s in house attorney for awhile. Why does all this seem to “stink” so bad and what should the courts to for this election to keep it clean?

Great question. This, along with other affiliations (Wright, Khalidi, Odinga, etc.) should REALLY raise red flags, but some Obama supporters are so blindly supportive of Obama that they’ll ignore or dismiss ANY criticisms of him. He could be a mass murderer, and people would say that bringing it up is “smear tactics” or “racist”.
Is it really a “smear tactic” to want to know who a POTUS candidate hangs around with or has in the past–ESPECIALLY when his party will have control of all 3 branches of gov’t with a filibuster-proof, veto-proof, unopposed majority in both houses of Congress????
Is it really irrelevant to wonder if he’s been colluding with former terrorists (Ayers, Khalidi) in the past before we give him control over our armed forces and nuclear weapons? Or whether he’s racist? Or whether he’s involved in voter fraud (or has been involved in it in the past, when he trained ACORN recruiters)?
Anyone registered through ACORN should have to prove their eligibility at their local election precinct within one month of the election or their vote should not count!
I think that the group needs to go to jail. It is apparent that registration fraud is a common and accepted practice of this group, and all should be indicted.
i think what should be done is, all registrations that were filled out by people that acorn brought in should be thrown away and all members of acorn and all people associated with them should be brought up on federal charges.

My opinion is acorn is completely unAmerican and should be banished. America is indeed a Free nation! But, at certain points things do get Too extreme. acorn is!!… (Be smart, do some research for Yourself)….so is barack obama.

3rd party: So we should punish the voters for the sins of a company? Lawyers represent people. Was Johnnie Cochran a criminal for defending OJ? No, so why would Obama be liable for the sins of his defendant?
Obama’s main tie to ACORN was as a part of a legal team who helped win the “Motor Voter” lawsuit in IL. The team fought against state laws that essentially limited access to voting poles to some groups of people. The verdict that he and the team helped win opened up access to the poles in IL and won them the very prestigious “Legal Eagle” award.
Obama’s involvement with Ayers was through a board on which they both sat, which doesn’t exactly make them BFFs. The interesting thing is that the person who established this board was the wife of Walter Annenberg, a prominent philantropist. (You might recognize the Annenberg Foundation). Coincidently, she is in second place on the new list of GOP supporters than McCain released this week. Does that mean that McCain too is a friend of Ayers?
