A friend won a lawsuit against a company he worked for. The damages portion of the case is separate from the liability portion. The defense attorney ordered my friend to undergo a MMPI2 (psychological evaluation) and then released John’s results publicly. Is that legal? Or is it an invasion of John’s privacy? Joh is now getting quite a bit of heat from the results. Did the defense attorney violate his HIPAA rights?

The attorney said that the minor child could not travel out of the State of Florida with the guardians or the natural parents without petitioning the court. I cannot find any statute that reads as such.

Monday, December 7th, 2009I went to a PSI interview on Monday, people warned me the lady was mean but it went surprisingly well. She was not pushy about her questions and was smiling when I left. My attorney says he and the DA have reached what he feels to be a solid agreement of punishment. Does the PSI interview and the DA’s agreement hold influence on the judge’s decision?
